Superb location, and gorgeous newly renovated rooms,

This is the first time I have stayed at the Royal since its long overdue reno. Gone are the huge rooms and the enormous bathrooms. In their place are fully functional modern hotel rooms with nearly everything you would need. Including USB posts and power points that don't stop functioning when the keycard is removed when exiting the room. Yay! The new baths are a treat. Well done.

No freezer in the in-room bar fridge was the only negative, but I completely understand why they chose the fridges they did. Staff at breakfast could be a little more customer-focussed.

Dissappointing stay

didnt enjoy our stay

The lifts dont start from the ground floor so if you have luggage you have to carry it up a flight of stairs and the staff dont offer to help you at all. There was also a strong mold smell. The shower was moldy and so were the walls and it looked and felt dirty. The room was really small so not good if you have lots of luggage. The room was way too dim and one of the lights keep flickering so i don't think they even take the time to do maintenance. I don't think this hotel is meant for travelers... Couldn't wait to get out of there.

It's a rational hotel price. The quality matches the price.

The hotel ia at good location right in the middle of city near by MRT station which is easily accessible to go anywhere.

There was some noise at very late nights and some staff were not that friendly compared to other hotels in Taiwan. Please take this for development

It was located conveniently near public transportation, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

Good hotel with convenient location and free snacks 24/7!

I loved that this hotel offered free snacks and juice 24/7. It was super convenient after a long day of sight seeing. The location of the hotel is close to the metro which made it convenient to get around, and I also really appreciated that there was free on sight laundry. Overall, I was happy with our stay.

The only negative thing is that the hotel room was very small for two people based on the price we paid. The hotel staff spoke limited English, but they were very friendly and accommodating, and we were happy with them.

So clean, room spacious.

So clean, room spacious. Breakfast food was very good. Good location - MRT (central park) Five minutes, can get 六合night market on foot. Complimentary snack serviced at basement restaurant.

Hard to understand mutual conversation with frontdesk(but all of them are so kind.) Lobby is very simple-no seat, no space. No name of the hotel on the entrance gate.
